New category on the website

This blog now includes a new category of posts.

As you might have noticed, the website includes a brand-new category: meta.

The idea behind this category is fairly straight forward. I want to be able to post about this website and how I’m building it and continuously improving it. With the rise of GenAI and all the toolings around it, my blogging experience is also evolving and that is something I want to talk about as well. An what better way than to start with a new category of posts.

What’s going to change

Well, since the newly announced billing strategy for Github Copilot (Microsoft, 2026) (a tool I use heavily) I had to rethink a couple of my decisions.

On my about page I list all the tasks I use AI for, read: Copilot. One of those tasks was spell-checking and validating that sentences are properly structured. This looks like a great use-case for GenAI, and that’s why I decided to go with this flow. But the billing changes made me question this decision.

In which way should I be reliable on AI tooling or LLM’s to pursue my hobby or carreer?

This question is where I’m currently struggling with. Because it raises the question, what task do I want to take my time for and which tasks should be automated. Because that’s the root of my use-case with AI tools.

In the upcoming posts you’ll read about my journey consciously moving away from AI tooling and replacing them with other automations/tools. Since I don’t want to loose my automated workflows.
